Darin Bifani, Founder – Puente Pacífico Investment Advisory
Darin Bifani is the founder of Puente Pacífico Investment Advisory (www.puentepacifico.com), a firm based in Santiago, Chile that assists clients source, analyze and execute real estate investments and transactions in Latin America. The firm also conducts research and designs tools to help improve risk-adjusted real estate investment returns.
Prior to forming Puente Pacífico, Darin was Managing Director, Regional Counsel of Cushman & Wakefield Capital Asia in Hong Kong and was responsible for designing and implementing the legal and risk management platform for the firm’s real estate investment banking and asset management operations. In this capacity he analyzed and helped structure and execute real estate transactions in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
In addition to his business experience, he has worked as an attorney with several international law firms in New York, Tokyo and Santiago focusing on real estate and other corporate transactions. Throughout his career, he has worked on hundreds of matters in over 20 countries.
Apart from his transactional experience, he has written numerous articles and his book, “Managing BRIC Real Estate Investment Risk”, is scheduled to be published by Euromoney in August, 2012. He is currently writing a book on managing real estate investment risk in key European markets.
