Inspirato, the self-styled "next generation destination club" launched by Exclusive Resorts co-founder Brent Hadler, has secured an $11 million capital boost, which it says will be spent on the expansion of its proprietary technology platform, adding new partnerships, and furthering brand awareness.

It claims to have generated more than $4 million in sales since its January launch, and is currently adding approximately 100 new club members each month.

Founder and CEO Brent Handler said: "Our pricing model is highly disruptive in the luxury travel market, and both sophisticated travellers and investors recognize Inspirato's growth potential. This extraordinary level of commitment from leaders in the investment community positions us to deliver more robust travel experiences to our members sooner than we expected. We are grateful for this opportunity to deliver an affordable luxury travel experience to a significant market segment."

Handler's team at Inspirato includes his brother Brad, and Brian Corbett - both former Exclusive Resorts executives, and entrepreneur Martin Pucher.

The company says its model combines the best of vacation rentals - flexibility and pay-as-you-go structure - with the best of private vacation clubs - company-controlled luxurious accommodations, custom designed interiors, dedicated on-site concierge service, and world-class amenities - but without the six-figure upfront fee, long-term commitment or restrictive booking policies.

Inspirato membership provides access to a portfolio of 40 multi-million dollar properties in the US, Caribbean, Hawaii and Italy. The homes are controlled and operated through the company's long-term lease arrangements, and members can benefit from a personal vacation advisor, based at Inspirato's Denver HQ for pre- and post-trip support, as well as a concierge and housekeeping service at the properties. Membership consists of a one-time non-refundable fee of $15,000 and offers access to below-market nightly rates.

Inspirato members have access to more than 40 luxury residences in 12 beach, mountain and European vacation destinations and the company plans to add additional US, Caribbean, and European homes in the coming months.
