Abu Dhabi's Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor Inaugurates Aldar's New Operative Village in Al Ain

HE Mubarak Saeed Al Dhaheri, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor, today officially inaugurated phase one of the new operative village in Al Ain created by Aldar to support ongoing development in Al Ain and improve the quality of labor accommodation.

Hosted by Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Director of Estates, Aldar Properties, HE Mubarak Saeed Al Dhaheri and other senior officials including Engineer Khadem Sawayeh Al Muhairi, Chief Labor Service Officer, ZonesCorp, were given a tour of the 75,000 SQM development.

The first permanent camp of its kind in the Garden City, the Al Ain Operative Village has a capacity of 5,690 upgradable to 10,500 residents and facilities including dining halls, laundries, a medical facility and pharmacy, mosque, supermarket, money exchange and an internet cafe. The development also includes recreational facilities such as TV rooms, gym, basketball and volleyball pitches, as well as a dedicated manager for social and sporting events.
