The 3-floor penthouse suite in the newly completed Residences at The Miami Edition has just hit the market for $27.5 million.

Located on floors 16, 17 and 18, this four-bedroom, four-bathroom and one half-bath luxury penthouse features 5,246 square feet of indoor living space and another 3,000 square feet of outdoor space.

The penthouse also features floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing 180-degree views of the Atlantic Ocean, Miami skyline, Biscayne Bay and South Beach.  Each of the four bedrooms boasts a terrace with spectacular views of the bay and ocean. It also features bleached teak wood flooring throughout, a custom designed Bulthaup kitchen, media room, and an indoor/outdoor rooftop lounge equipped with a summer kitchen and trellis-covered dining area.

The Residences at The Miami Edition were developed by Studio 54 founder Ian Schrager, also known for bringing Miami Beach back in style with his renovation of the Delano in the 1980s. Residents of The Edition have priority access to 24-hour five-star concierge services, 24-hour security services, poolside cabanas, beach and pool chaise lounges and umbrellas, fitness center with personal trainers and travel agent services.

The luxurious tower is comprised of 26 limited edition condominiums, all with panoramic views and a sophisticated style of living. The Residences sit upon the top floors of the pre-existing 1950s building, the Miami Beach EDITION hotel, and is adjacent to the newly constructed 18-story tower. Although part of The Miami Beach EDITION resort hotel, The Residences have their own private entrance as well as an anonymous "celebrity" entrance for ensured privacy.

William P.D. Pierce with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate's Miami Beach Lincoln Building office is handling the sale.

"This is the hottest penthouse in Miami. With the Edition, Ian Schrager knocked this one out of the park," said Pierce. "South Florida is still underpriced compared to Los Angeles, New York City and international markets, so a penthouse this glamourous, with such incredible amenities and services, will undoubtedly attract interest among global luxury buyers."
