Specializing in clients who are selling something big, important and valuable, Placemaker Media builds online followings and prevents social sales shrinkage.
Chip began his career with Walt Disney World marketing and has been helping businesses create places, tell stories and engage their customers ever since. Along the way, Chip contributed to travel websites Citysearch and America Online as well as Great Destinations travel guides. He still frequently rolls up his sleeves and puts his boots on the ground in a new market to analyze what makes it tick, what products sell, and where the business opportunities lie. He served on the executive team at Panorama International for more than seven years, and has personally completed market studies and assessments for real estate, hospitality and tourism projects across the U.S., Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, Argentina and Europe.
He earned his MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business in Austin and a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin.
