Darin Bifani writes about international property markets. He is the founder of Puente Pacífico Investment Advisory, a real estate investment firm based in Santiago, Chile. Puente Pacifico works with clients to source, analyze and execute investments and transactions in Latin America. The firm also conducts proprietary research and designs tools to improve risk-adjusted real estate investment returns.
But Mr. Bifani’s expertise extends to markets around the world. Prior to forming Puente Pacífico, he was managing director, Regional Counsel of Cushman & Wakefield Capital Asia in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for designing and implementing the legal and risk management platform for the firm’s real estate investment banking and asset management operations. In this capacity he analyzed and helped structure and execute real estate transactions in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
In addition to his business experience, he has worked as an attorney with several international law firms in New York, Tokyo and Santiago focusing on real estate and other corporate transactions. Throughout his career, he has worked on hundreds of matters in over 20 countries.
