LinkedIn Expands in Empire State Building

LinkedIn has signed a full-floor lease for 31,719 square feet in the Empire State Building, expanding its total footprint in the iconic tower to 109,719 square feet. 

Lease details have not been reported but asking rents are $55 per square foot on the upper floors, according to the New York Observer.

Known as the largest professional networking website, LinkedIn first moved into the building in 2011 leasing 31,742 square feet on the 25th floor. Since then, the company has expanded to the 23rd, 24th, and 39th floors.

CBRE represented LinkedIn in the deal while Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the landlord, Malkin Holdings.
