Beverly Hills Hotel Receives $125 Million Refinancing Deal

Jones Lang LaSalle's Hotels & Hospitality Group has helped arrange a $125 million refinancing package for the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills.The 297-room hotel, owned by SBE Entertainment Group and Nimes Capital, is located on La Cienega Boulevard, at the crossroads of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood.

"The financing for the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills represents a unique opportunity to lend on a high-quality, trend-setting hotel that is well-located in one of the top lodging markets in the country and backed by premier sponsorship," said Comfort. "SBE Entertainment Group is well positioned to capitalize on further food and beverage opportunities, and continue the impressive top- and bottom-line results the hotel has achieved to date."

The hotel is poised to lead SLS Hotels brand's global expansion, according to a press release.

SBE Entertainment Group acquired the former Hotel Nikko and Le Meridien hotel in November 2005, and closed the property for a" transformative renovation" in June 2007. The hotel reopened in October, 2008, as the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills, a member of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Luxury Collection. The hotel was designed by Philippe Starck and featuring cuisine by James Beard Award-winning chef José Andrés at The Bazaar.
