Sold purely by word-of-mouth in Miami Beach, The Mansions at Acqualina has logged a record-setting $200 million in sales in just one month, as curiosity intensified around the highly anticipated extension of the Acqualina brand.

The iconic new building with unparalleled amenities created by Eddie and Jules Trump of The Trump Group is experiencing an overwhelming response for its preconstruction residences - without any marketing materials.

A letter sent last month by the developer to existing owners and loyalists of Acqualina previewed the building as the finest residences ever to be built. Buyers who hail from the U.S., Canada, and the rest of the world, put down deposits on lavishly appointed oceanfront residences starting at $5 million. With only two residences per floor, each a corner, The Mansions affords wraparound views and the very lavish space allowed for huge entertaining and living areas.

One of the 79 oceanfront "sky mansions," a 15,000 square-foot penthouse, "Palazzo di Oro," is priced at an unprecedented $50 million and features ultra luxury and custom finishes by Fendi Casa, along with palatial exclusive features.

Acqualina is one of the only Miami-Dade condo buildings to consistently increase in value since the tower's delivery in 2006, and maintains loyal residency with minimal resales. Nearly all buyers of The Mansions already own residences in Acqualina and were seeking larger homes, or are frequent guests of the resort, spending an average of $100,000 annually.

The Mansions features 11 outdoor private sanctuaries - from a fire pit to sunset pool, dog park, cabanas, and more - as well as 13 exceptional indoor areas with world-class services, exquisite finishes, materials and fixtures never before seen in a residential development.

Amenities include a Hammam spa, fitness center, children's activity center, golf simulators, cigar lounge with humidors, wine room with private cellar, and an outdoor dining and breakfast bar facility.

The rest of the world won't hear about The Mansions for another month, when the spectacular 9,000 square-foot sales pavilion opens with designs by Fendi Casa with two days of private affairs. Starting March 24 the sales pavilion will be open by appointment only.

The centerpiece will be a 4,600-square-foot model residence, "Villa de Acqua," with the opulent finishes and appointments The Trump Group is known for. Construction on The Mansions is expected to commence by end of the year.

Acqualina Resort & Spa is internationally celebrated for its unrivaled amenities and prestige. Honors include the coveted 2012 AAA Five Diamond Award for a third year and 2011 Andrew Harper's Reader's Choice Award for Top 20 Beach and Family Resorts in the world. Acqualina features 188 residences and 97 impeccable guest rooms and suites, a 20,000-square-foot ESPA oceanfront spa, two oceanfront restaurants including the acclaimed Il Mulino New York, three oceanfront swimming pools and an innovative marine biology-based AcquaMarine children's program. The five-diamond resort culture and renowned lifestyle is located on a combined 6.75 beachfront acres with 650 feet of stunning Atlantic Ocean.
