North Shore Systems, a commercial mortgage software company, has officially launched their iPhone app, North Shore Mobile, which is now available in the Apple app store. The North Shore team is extremely excited to announce the debut as this project has been in development for over a year now. The mobile app serves as an extension of NSS's industry leading CRE lending and investment platform allowing a new way for users to access the system and take it with them on-the-go.
Without the confinements of being tied to their office, lenders can access the system instantaneously from anywhere they desire. This development for iOS devices adds a whole new dimension and degree of usefulness and convenience for the platform. Everything from construction, deal submission, site inspection to loan approval and more can now be accessed and performed on a mobile device in real time.
In addition to the time savings and convenience that the app offers, uploading pictures and documents has never been simpler. This new element of the system enhances NSS's themes of flexibility and convenience, making it easier than ever for users to automate the entire loan process from end-to-end. The mobile component provides a more streamlined approach to the loan process, allowing users to access any module of the loan process immediately.
Some specific uses of the mobile app include, producers being able to perform CRM and access the complete database of entities, properties, and leads. Also, they can start deals with a quick sizing using stated amounts, or access actual rent rolls and operating statements to make quotes. Site inspectors can enter property data and take/load photos directly into the database. Analysts and underwriters can be notified when new documents have been uploaded by the borrower or received from a third party. Loan approvers can review underwriting documents routed to them and approve deals on the go. Construction engineers and inspectors can now review and approve draw requests while in the field or traveling between sites. Asset and portfolio managers are automatically routed alerts that need their attention by the systems intelligence layer, North Shore IQ. Lenders can now provide timely responses to clients or co-workers without the hassle of always having to be near their computer. Reports and documents can even be generated, viewed, or sent from the app.
Ultimately, NSS's mobile component gives them an edge over their competition as many of their competitors within the space do not offer mobile versions of their systems.
