Collaborating with Destin based developer Legendary, Inc., on the architectural design of the project was Helman Hurley Charvat Peacock Architects, Inc., (HHCP). John Purdy, Vice President and Sr. Designer for HHCP, was the one selected to work with Legendary's CEO Peter Bos to help bring Emerald Grande to life. Knowing the area's history as the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village", they arrived at a look and feel that likened itself to a turn of the century yacht club.
