Heritage Golf Group Announces TPC Piper Glen's Re-Opening Following Greens Project

(CHARLOTTE, NC) -- Heritage Golf Group announced it reopened TPC Piper Glen, a premier private golf club facility designed by Arnold Palmer, after undergoing extensive renovation work.

The facility closed its course in July to replace the greens with a new generation bentgrass called Dominator. During the greens project, TPC Piper Glen took the opportunity to improve overall golf course aesthetics and to re-contour the slope of the 14th green, the signature hole on the golf course.

In celebration of the grand re-opening, TPC Piper Glen will introduce a new social calendar featuring interactive activities for the kids, as well as updated social events and dining menus for the enjoyment of the adult members and guests. The Club also recently added a new fitness center which features state-of-the-art equipment.

"We are looking forward to re-opening the course and are excited to welcome back our members and guests who have been patient and supportive during our greens project," said Eddie Carpenter, General Manager of TPC Piper Glen. "I am very pleased with our progress and would like to give a special thank you to golf course superintendent Dean Sparks and his entire staff for the incredible improvements that have been made."

TPC Piper Glen was the first course in the state to become certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. TPC Piper Glen is a non-equity club operated by Heritage Golf Group and is a member of the PGA Tour's TPC Network of properties nationwide.
