Hacienda is actually situated at the site of the famed Hacienda Hotel, host to the likes of Bing Crosby, John Wayne and Desi Arnaz.  Other amenities on property will include a festive Kid's Club, fitness center and resort spa.  The highly anticipated restaurant, Cocina y Cantina, is open to the public.

"Hacienda Beach Club & Residences' idyllic location truly sets it apart from other offerings in the area," said Dan Schwaegler, senior vice president of Starwood Capital Group.  "In partnership with The Koll Company and Del Mar Development, we are meeting the significant demand for a residential resort development featuring stress-free living with personalized and sophisticated service, just steps away from all the excitement Cabo has to offer."

Hacienda Beach Club & Residences features an array of real estate options ranging from one- to four-bedroom resort residences and four-bedroom beachfront villas with private infinity pools.  All residences are thoughtfully designed with artisan touches, including natural stone, ceramic and hardwood finishes.  Resort residences offer marina and Sea of Cortez views from private terraces while the two-story villas are appointed with every modern convenience, capturing the spirit of Old Mexico.  Full-ownership real estate prices range from $751,500 to $5.2 million.

Hacienda's rental program features a portfolio of accommodations for those seeking an unparalleled Mexican getaway. Guests receive daily housekeeping, access to the fitness center, spa, beach club and all dining outlets.  Beachfront villa guests receive the services of a butler, chef and a personal golf cart for use during the visit with no minimum night stay required.

Perched on a quarter-mile of spectacular beach and overlooking the iconic rock formations of Land's End, Hacienda's elegant beach club provides the gateway to the best that Los Cabos has to offer, including cultural tours, hiking, sport fishing, sea kayaking expeditions or a tee time at one of Cabo's premier golf courses.

Overlooking the Sea of Cortez, the Cocina y Cantina restaurant serves family-style authentic Mexican cuisine showcasing fresh ingredients, including regionally grown produce. Guests can also enjoy a variety of Mexico's best tequilas, an extensive wine list including many Mexican wines, locally brewed beers, and unique rum-infused drinks called Curas. The full-service Spa with four treatment cottages, including a spa suite for couples, offers a menu of rejuvenating treatments and therapies steeped in Mexican traditions and rituals of renewal.

The Enclave at Cypress Grove Opens on Monterey Peninsula

(SEASIDE, CA) -- The famed and picturesque Monterey Bay Peninsula is the backdrop for a new residential golf course resort community called The Enclave at Cypress Grove.

Cypress Grove Realty announced the opening of the first phase last August, and the 400-acre project located on the Bayonet and Black Horse Golf Courses recently closed escrow on a custom lot.

The recent transaction by Clarum Homes calls for approvals to build a 2,774 square-foot "Enviro-Home." Clarum's eco-friendly home is designed to minimize the use of resources, create a healthier, more comfortable living environment, and to greatly enhance the value of the home.  A regional leader in green building, Clarum is continually focused on energy, efficiency, indoor air quality and health, water conservation methods, and the procurement of eco-friendly materials.

Overall, the Enclave at Cypress Grove offers homebuyers 29 custom home sites, ranging in size from 12,000 to 20,000 square feet and featuring ocean or golf views. The gated resort community provides residents convenient proximity to an abundance of dining, shopping and area attractions and is minutes away from Monterey Bay, Cannery Row, The Monterey Bay Aquarium, numerous outdoor sports, vineyards and tasting rooms.

"We're excited to offer homebuyers the chance they've been waiting for to build the home of their dreams with golf or bay views," says Dick Fitzgerald, project manager for The Enclave at Cypress Grove. "We've labored over the planning and execution of this resort community and believe the Monterey Bay area and homebuyers are going to be blown away by the spectacular results."

Thanks to a $14 million renovation completed in 2008, 36-hole Bayonet Black Horse offers an even better golf experience than the historic layout built and designed by U.S. Army Gen.  Robert B. McClure. Golf course architect Gene Bates, in collaboration with Cypress Grove's partners maintained the integrity of Bayonet's challenging layout while masterfully improving Black Horse with a complementary design.

Residents of The Enclave at Cypress Grove will enjoy preferred golf course use without having to pay monthly dues. The residential golf membership offers preferred tee times, reduced fees and discounts on food, beverages and merchandise.

Renowned local architect Eric Miller, favored for his ability to balance a client's desire with a community's aesthetic, is the featured residential architect, but buyers may choose their own architect and builder for their luxury home. Comprehensive design guidelines aim to enhance the community's overall look and preserve home values by paying close attention to detailed architectural and design standards.

Cypress Grove has a master-plan that eventually calls for a 330-room resort and spa, 125 single-family home sites and 170 condominiums. Adjacent to Cypress Grove's gated community lies more than 20,000 acres of public open space with trails and a regional bike path system.
