The pandemic-induced housing boom continues with prices rising by 9.2% on average across 55 countries and territories in the year to June 2021.
International property consultant Knight Frank is reporting this week that global residential prices are rising at their fastest rate in nearly three years. Prices increased by 5.6% on average in 2020, up from 5.3% in 2019.
Global property consultant CBRE is reporting that worldwide commercial real estate investment increased by 84% quarter-over-quarter in Q4 to $290 billion but was down by 20% from Q4 2019.
According to Knight Frank's latest Global House Price Index for Q2, 2020, Turkey leads the annual rankings with prices up 25% year-on-year.
