(MIAMI, FL) -- Fortune International has announced that it has been retained to handle sales for the approximately 150 remaining residences at the Wind condominium on the Miami River. The appointment was made by the project's monitor who was approved by the consortium of banks that provided the construction loan.  Those banks include Wachovia and HSBC Bank.

"In this difficult real estate market, a property as exceptional as Wind can do well when it is priced competitively and has a strong sales team behind it," said Edgardo Defortuna president and CEO of Fortune International.

"With our new pricing strategy, the building's superb waterfront location and luxurious amenities, Wind will appeal to both end-users and investors."

Condo prices have been dropped significantly from their original asking prices of mid $200,000s to more than $650,000. The one, two, and three-bedroom units at Wind are now priced from the $160,000s to the $450,000, or about $200 to $275 per square-foot, according to Defortuna.

Located in downtown Miami on the north bank of the Miami River, the 41-story condominium, designed by award-winning architect Luis Revuelta has a total of 489 residences. The uniquely positioned floor plans give each residence a "corner view," and the oversized balconies offer breathtaking views of the river, bay and city.  All units feature stainless steel designer kitchens and spa-like baths.

Residents at Wind can take advantage of the two-story clubhouse, party room, movie screening room and 40,000 square-foot waterside pool deck and meditation garden.  The ninth and tenth floor amenities decks feature a spa, steam and sauna rooms, racquetball court, massage room and state-of-the-art fitness center.  Complimentary valet is also available and the building accepts pets up to 50 pounds.

The building was originally called "Wind by Neo" but the "by Neo" has now been dropped.  Lissette M. Calderon of CEO Neo Epoch was the original developer of the property that broke ground in the spring of 2005 and was completed in early 2008.
