Abu Dhabi-based Aldar Properties PJSC has continued the expansion of its commercial office leasing business with the welcoming of new tenants into HQ, and continued progress at Trust Tower at Central Market.

The first tenants have moved in at HQ, the striking building at the gateway to Abu Dhabi that offers over 50,000 sq m of premium office space in a prime location over 23 floors. Tenants include ATIC, Global Foundries, ABB and Insurance Authority of the UAE, as well as Aldar themselves, with more to be announced soon.

Planned for completion in Q2 2012, Trust Tower is located in the heart of the Central Business District, within walking distance of many of Abu Dhabi's key government buildings, and sits above Central Market. The tower will become the tallest dedicated Grade A office building in the City at 278m.

To help potential tenants with their choice of office space, a marketing suite in Trust Tower will open in May this year, showcasing the different layout options available in the building.

Rami Nasser, Aldar Director of Sales & Commercial Leasing said, "We are excited to be welcoming such ambitious companies and leading organizations as our neighbors at Aldar HQ. The list of prestigious firms that choose to make their home in an Aldar building continues to grow and is a testament to the quality of the office space and service we offer.

Looking further ahead the Al Noor Tower, located within the Al Muneera Precinct of Al Raha Beach will provide 17,780sqm of office accommodation at the heart of this new residential community and is scheduled for completion in Q4 2012.

These new properties complement Aldar's existing commercial property portfolio that includes:

  • Al Mamoura, a 50,000 sq m Grade A office development, currently leased to Mubadala, The Environment Agency; UAE Offset Bureau, The Urban Planning Council; Allen & Overy, Servcorp; Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation and other significant local and international companies.
  • Baniyas Towers, a 42,500 sq m office building completed in September 2009, leased to The Department of Economic Development; The Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council and the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
  • Injazat, the headquarters of Injazat Data Systems, a data centre and office space for 1,000 employees and featuring recreation facilities such as a 200-seat auditorium, gymnasium, library and coffee shop.
