(Mexico City, Mexico) -- Marriott International recently announced its new Courtyard Mexico City Airport property is open for business. The 288-room hotel is Courtyard's seventh property in Mexico, first in Mexico City.

Each of the 288 units, including 17 suites, offers free high-speed internet access, contemporary work space, digital alarm clocks with an iPod and iPad docking station, 32-inch LCD televisions with HD and premium channels and deluxe bedding. Meanwhile, the Refreshing Business Lobby provides travelers with complimentary Wi-Fi and the lower lobby features a large central contemporary fountain with plenty of seating for socializing.

"From the refreshing open business lobby (with complimentary Wi-Fi) to our modern and spacious guest rooms, the Courtyard Marriott Mexico City Airport offers business and leisure guests excellent space and flexibility to optimize their stay," said David Gauna, General Manager of the Courtyard Marriott Mexico City.

Courtyard Mexico City is located in terminal one with an entry from the second floor of Hall G by a foot bridge. The hotel features five levels of guest rooms; valet parking; a central atrium with retail outlets; a mezzanine lobby level that includes a state of the art fitness center; 3,992 sq. feet of meeting space as well as the traveler's lounge, a rest area where traveling guests can shower and freshen up before check-in or after check-out.

Centro Bistro, Courtyard Marriott Mexico City Hotel's premier restaurant, offers a menu with local and international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

"The opening of this great new hotel reinforces our steady expansion in Mexico and validates the popularity and recognition of the Courtyard by Marriott brand that offers style, high-quality service and comfort for an affordable price", said Rob Steigerwald, Chief Operations Officer of the Americas at Marriott International.

Marriott International currently operates 19 hotels in Mexico under five different brands: Marriott Hotels & Resorts, JW Marriott Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton, Courtyard by Marriott, and Fairfield Inn. The Courtyard Mexico City Airport will be the seventh Courtyard to open in Mexico; four more Courtyards are in the pipeline.
