Yas Marina Wins Award for Management at International Ceremony

(ABU DHABI, UAE) - Yas Marina, part of Aldar Marinas, has received the Innovation and Excellence Award for marina management at the 6th international Beirut Boat Show. Yas Island is one of Aldar's primary developments that includes the Formula I racetrack, hotels, Ferrari World amusement park, and a shopping mall.
 
Yas Marina Manager, Cedric Le Rest, received the award which was part of the World of Yachts Recognition Awards for Excellence 2010, in front of leaders from the Arab maritime industry at a ceremony in Beirut. "It is an honor to continue to be recognized as a leading marina within this prestigious and well respected industry," said Le Rest.
 
Yas Marina is located at the heart of the Yas Marina Circuit with berthing adjacent to the Formula 1™ race track. It is the world's latest Superyacht Marina with a capacity of 143 yachts, accommodating vessels ranging from 15 to 70 meters on an annual basis. The marina can host visitor berthing for Superyachts of up to 150 meters.

Yas Marina was recently included by Dow Jones in its list of the World's Top Ten Marinas.
 
Aldar Marinas manage marinas that are part of Aldar's waterfront developments at Yas Island, Al Raha Beach, and Abu Dhabi Island. The leading development at Al Raha is Al Bandar, a community based marina, which will accommodate vessels from 9 meters to 24 meters.
