Kingsbarns Golf Links Offers Fairway Desserts Campaign

(ST. ANDREWS, SCOTLAND) -- Chefs around the country are being invited to have their cake and eat it too thanks to an innovative new partnership. Premium Scottish food ingredients manufacturer Macphie of Glenbervie has teamed up with Kingsbarns Golf Links and the Fairmont St. Andrews to launch their new range of desserts on the fairway.

The new range features mouthwatering desserts including flavored panna cottas: Irish Cream Liqueur, Mocha and White Chocolate and two pots de crème, which come in Lemon and Chocolate. Chefs and caterers around the country can enter a competition to win a delicious golfing break to St. Andrews, including rounds on the renowned Kingsbarns Golf Links, which plays host to the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship each year, and the excellent Torrance Course and two nights' accommodation at the luxurious Fairmont St. Andrews in a deluxe guestroom with outstanding views of the North Sea and the bay of St. Andrews.

We have decided to celebrate this relationship by creating a link between Kingsbarns as a top Scottish golf course and Macphie as a premium Scottish food ingredients manufacturer. Ellie Adair, the marketing manager at Macphie, added: "We are thrilled to be offering this prize to visit St. Andrews - the Home of Golf. The "Ultimate Course Campaign" will target the catering and food press and aims to promote the new Macphie range to the catering industry.

Dedicated photography has been created to accompany the campaign which captures the essence of sweet success in the kitchen and on the golf course.

Kingsbarns celebrated its tenth anniversary this year and continues to enhance its reputation as one of the finest modern links courses in world golf. The new initiative will see Kingsbarns featured on the Macphie promotional material and will help promote its outstanding course and clubhouse facilities to an influential audience who like to put the icing on the cake.
