PGA National Resort & Spa Salutes Active Military with Labor Day Special

(PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL) -- PGA National Resort & Spa - home of the PGA TOUR Honda Classic - invites all active duty military to enjoy a complimentary one night stay over Labor Day weekend, September 3-6.
 
This exclusive offer for active military includes a special golf rate of $30 to play The Palmer, Haig, Squire and Estates courses, and $50 to play the famed Champion course. A resort stay is required for golf. For all green fees collected over Labor Day weekend, a portion will be donated to Patriot Golf Day - flagship fundraiser for the Folds of Honor Foundation that provides postsecondary education for the children and spouses of military men and women disabled or killed while serving.
 
"Our Labor Day offer for active military is our way of saying 'thank you' for their sacrifices to our country," says Joel Paige, Vice President and Managing Director of PGA National. "It is an opportunity for them and their families to relax and enjoy our reinvented and revitalized lobby, rooms and pool area and have a holiday weekend to remember."
 
Other highlights include a "Three for $30" menu in the Ironwood Grille designed by current "Top Chef" contestant and PGA National's new Executive Chef - Kenny Gilbert. A BBQ will be held on Saturday and Sunday at The Wave Poolside Grille from 12-4 p.m. with live music and drink specials ($15.95 for adults, $7.95 for active military personnel). In addition to the complimentary night of accommodation, active military may add extra nights for just $59.
 
Breakfast will be available each day at a special price of $10 at The Citrus Tree Café. On Labor Day weekend, the resort's 40,000 square-foot European Spa will offer a "Swedish Massage" or "PGA Custom Facial" for $79. A "PGA Manicure and Pedicure" is available for $60. Taxes and gratuity are not included in any of the above pricing, and rooms and tee-times are subject to availability.
