(ABU DHABI, U.A.E.) -- The UAE's Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, got an advance look at major projects from companies exhibiting at Cityscape Abu Dhabi today. The biggest number of exhibitors are from Abu Dhabi emirate, but companies from Dubai like Dubai World Central and outside the region like Iskandar from Malyasia and Real Capital from Bahrain are also present.

Sheikh Mohammed was shown the detailed miniature reproduction of Falcon City Dubailand (seen in the photo) and visited exhibits from Mubadala, Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council, Al Ain Municipality, Al Maabar, Capitala, Al Qudra, Tamhouh, Reem, Aldar, the Abu Dhabi Tourism Development and Investment Company, Al Markaz, Sorouh, ICT, and Al Manazal.

"Cityscape Abu Dhabi is seen this year as the benchmark for the real estate investment industry in the region," said Mark Goodchild, Exhibition Director.

"The presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed following yesterday's inauguration by His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, further demonstrates the importance Cityscape has gained as a showcase for infrastructure development in the UAE."

Cityscape, the real estate event of the year for the UAE capital, is bigger than last year despite the market downturn and covers nine halls and the atrium of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center with more than 40,000 square meters of exhibition space. More than 300 companies from over 30 countries are participating with virtually all major developers represented.
