Asia Pacific Commercial Property Investment Leads the World, Spikes 13 Percent

New data from the global real estate consultancy JLL indicates that the Asia Pacific region was the sole global area to experience an increase in commercial real estate investment in the first quarter of 2024, with investments hitting $30.5 billion. This represents a 13% rise year-over-year (YoY) and is the second consecutive quarterly increase after a slump lasting seven quarters.

Mainland Chinese Buyers Flock Back to Hong Kong Luxury Properties in Early 2024

Mainland Chinese buyers are observed to have accounted for around 70% of recent primary sales of luxury residential properties worth HKD 30 million or above, rebounding from less than 50% before the removal.

Based on new research by international property consultant Colliers, annual total investment in South Korean hotels reached KRW 5.8 trillion and KRW 5.5 trillion in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
