JTHS-MIAMI Golf Tournament to Raise Money, Awareness for Autism
(Miami, Fl) -- The Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound Council of the MIAMI Association Realtors will be raising money and awareness for individuals impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ADS) before and during its 34th annual JTHS-MIAMI Golf Tournament on June 3 at Turtle Creek Country Club in Tequesta. Sponsors, donations and players are needed for the golf tournament and a pre-party auction from 5-7 p.m. May 9 at the Els Center for Excellence.
With more than 3.5 million American impacted by the disorder, Jupiter-based Els Center for Excellence is a world-class site hosting leading-edge programs and services for children affected by ASD. The Els for Autism Foundation is running a capital campaign to complete the construction of The Els Center of Excellence campus with the addition of an adults services center, sports facility, medical and research facility.
"JTHS-MIAMI is honored to partner with the Els for Autism Foundation, to raise money and awareness," 2019 JTHS-MIAMI President Kim Price said. "About 1 in 59 U.S. children are identified to be affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Having all the essential components on one campus at the Els Center for Excellence is not only a game-changer for the local community but makes the campus a perfect hub for a variety of global outreach activities."
JTHS-MIAMI Seeking 100+ Attendees for its Pre-Party Auction Event on May 9
JTHS-MIAMI is seeking donations and attendees for its pre-party auction event on May 9 at the Els Center for Excellence (18370 Limestone Creek Road in Jupiter). Partial Proceeds go to the Els for Autism Foundation. Silent and raffle auction items will be available in addition to a putting contest and pre-sale for the firetruck ball drop contest.
JTHS-MIAMI is soliciting donations for raffle prizes and auction items. Donations can be in the form of product, gift cards, gift certificates, etc. Contact valarie@flinsnet.com or call (561) 262- 4256.
Sponsors and Players Needed for Golf Tournament and Auction Event
Sponsors and golfers are needed for the 34th annual JTHS-MIAMI Golf Tournament, which will begin with a 7:30 a.m. registration and breakfast on June 3 at the Turtle Creek Country Club. The four-person scramble shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m.
Sponsorship ranges from a $150-hole sponsorship to a $1,500-platinum sponsor. Proceeds go to the Els Center for Autism.
The fee to play in the golf tournament is $150 per player or $550 per team. Limited to 25 foursomes or 100 individuals. Teams consist of four players each; individuals will be matched with a team if a team is not provided. Team registration can be made by emailing jths@miamire.com or by calling (561) 746-2707 before May 24, 2019.
